Best In Acne: Cleansers

There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to acne treatment. When choosing the right cleanser for your acne-prone skin, it’s imperative to take other factors into consideration (such as your skin type, the type of acne you’re getting, and whether or not your skin is sensitive).

Discover which cleanser is right for your skin:

acne cleanserAcne Facial Cleanser

This daily acne cleanser contains superstar acne-fighting ingredient Salicylic Acid to help control whiteheads, blackheads, and those annoying pimple eruptions that can be painful (cystic) or that just linger until they turn into a whitehead. This formula is most suitable for those with combination or oily skin types.

acne cleanserGlycolic Foaming Cleanser

This cleanser/exfoliant-in-one is an exfoliant designed to be used in place of a daily cleanser 1-2 times a week (for dry or combo/dry skin) or 2-3 times a week (for oily or combo/oily skin). Glycolic Acid is the holy grail of alpha hydroxy acids to help deep clean pores, prevent blackheads and congestion, and to promote a smoother complexion.

acne cleanserEnzyme Cleansing Gel

For those with combination/oily skin who get the occasional breakout, this daily cleanser contains Papaya and Grapefruit Extracts to exfoliate the skin very mildly, prevent breakouts, and promote a clearer complexion.

acne cleanserSeaweed Cleansing Soap

For those with dry and/or sensitive skin, stick with a cream-based, gentle cleanser such as our Seaweed Cleansing Soap and spot treat blemishes accordingly.

Which cleanser is right for you?
