END-OF-SUMMER-SKIN REHAB

Sometimes the sun just gets the best of us no matter the preventive measures we take. It’s a rare occurrence – we know how diligent you are with slathering on the sunscreen and reapplying regularly from under the brim of a floppy hat – but it happens to us all.

Even to the best of us. (Yep – even to our PR girl/beauty guru, Nicole, who spent the weekend in South Beach. She’s currently recovering from a lovely trapezoid-shaped burn after missing a few spots. Ouch!)

Burnt skin is the worst, but even skin that’s gotten a little too much sun is no laughing matter. It’s uncomfortable, sore and painful even. What post-vacation or end-of-summer skin needs is an instant soother, right away.

The After Sun Cooling Gel is, essentially, the skincare equivalent of homemade iced tea on the hottest day of the year. Enriched with aloe, it’s like that tall glass of iced tea, we’re telling you: the lightweight gel cools immediately cools upon contact. Goodbye irritation, hello relief!

And just like that iced tea, keep your bottle handy in the refrigerator for an extra kick of cool. You’ll thank us later.

I tend to be verbose, so I'll keep it as short and sweet as possible: I write and dance. A lot. Also pertinent: Aries, pescatarian, and lover of all things beautiful. I'll be honest when I admit that before MB, I simply washed my face twice daily and left it at that. But ask if I'm a skincare junkie now and I'll nod voraciously. I can never be without moisturizer, and the Vitamin C Serum makes my heart palpitate.
