There are few things that can affect self-esteem or body image like body acne.

For many years, I simply refused to wear a tank top or a strappy dress. Going to the beach was an exercise in strategic dressing and lounging. What’s worse is that my closest friend in the world during that time was one of those girls with perfect, poreless, relentlessly clear skin. Meanwhile, I spent my teens and twenties covered up, hidden from the world.

I want those of you with body acne to realize that it’s a totally treatable condition. This body wash uses fruit extracts—papaya and grapefruit—to exfoliate dead skin cells. One of the main causes of acne is the inability of the dead cells of the epidermis to shed properly.
