Clueless Skin? As If!

A behind-the-scenes peek at the MB offices:

We have to confess, part of the office culture involves Clueless quoting every so often – many of the MB girls are, after all, bona fide nineties babies/toddlers/teens. Clueless was our story, Cher was our queen. A computer program which paired outfits for her every morning? It’s 2013 and we’re still waiting. Beautifully coiffed hair and Alaia dresses? We’re working on it. But the perfect complexions and dewy glow that comes with true love?

That, we’ve got.

We love a good romance, but trust us – that puppy-love-glow can be emulated. A few drops of the Herbal Hydrating Serum over our daily moisturizers keeps skin happy and healthy all day long – our estheticians don’t lovingly refer to it as “dewiness in a bottle” without reason.

With glow on the lockdown, what happens when we’re looking less-than-dazzling before a high-pressure event? Cue Cher’s anxiety when preparing for her movie date with Christian that has her red-faced and flustered. We can’t help but wish we were there to give her our Anti-Redness Kit. Designed to keep redness at bay and to help calm and soothe sensitive, irritated skin, this just might have been Cher’s godsend. In between snapping Polaroids of potential outfit choices, greasing a cookie pan, and getting her makeup done by Dee, redness would have been one less thing to worry about.

Keep it calm, cool and collected for a rendition of “rolling with the homies…,” even if it does bring up memories of heartbreak (poor Ty!). If there’s no time for all three products, then just set aside 20 minutes for the Calma Mask. We all deserve a moment to ourselves, and our skin could use a breather every so often.

So one more time, for nostalgia’s sake: Rollin’ with the homies…
