HALLOWEEN MADNESS! OR, THE ESSENTIAL MAKEUP REMOVER GUIDE: PART I

Getting away with wearing more makeup than the socially accepted norm is half the fun of Halloween (the other half is having all those handy bag o’ sweets lying around, all at your convenience… guilt-free indulgence on Halloween Day is a beautiful thing!). And so, experimentation before and on the holiday is a given: but don’t forget to have makeup remover at the ready, at all times! In preparation for all that dolling up (or ghouling up, depending on what you, your child, etc. is being), here’s the first half of our makeup remover breakdown:

EYE MAKEUP REMOVER CREAM

  • Dissolves tough, waterproof eye make-up
  • Gel-like consistency
  • Makeup can be applied almost immediately sans the smudging!
  • Gentle enough for sensitive eyes (& contact wearers)

CARNATION EYE-MAKEUP REMOVER OIL

  • Removes waterproof eye makeup
  • Lightweight, thin consistency
  • Contains Carnation Oil, Sesame Oil & Floral Extract
  • Not recommended for sensitive eyes

EYE MAKEUP REMOVER GEL (NON-OILY)

  • Removes waterproof eye makeup
  • Non-oily consistency (in between cream & oil in texture)
  • Non-shiny, residue-free gel formulation
  • Ideal for oily/sensitive skin

Beware; Part II coming soon! Which MB makeup removers have you tried?

I tend to be verbose, so I'll keep it as short and sweet as possible: I write and dance. A lot. Also pertinent: Aries, pescatarian, and lover of all things beautiful. I'll be honest when I admit that before MB, I simply washed my face twice daily and left it at that. But ask if I'm a skincare junkie now and I'll nod voraciously. I can never be without moisturizer, and the Vitamin C Serum makes my heart palpitate.
